Payment & Deposit

​

A minimum of $100 deposit is required to secure all private bookings and is non refundable.

 

Deposit payments can be paid by bank transfer directly into our account or by credit card over the phone (incurs a 2% surcharge).  

 

If the booking is cancelled less than one week of party date ,100% of the deposit fee on your booking confirmation  will be charged. The booking may be rescheduled in the case of an illness or emergency. We will hold the cancellation fees as a credit for you to use within 12 months and reschedule your event. Further changes to your booking may incur additional fees

Balance of the booking is to be paid on the day to your party host or artist before they leave the venue.

Additional fees 

​

Bespoke Bookings -  Any further changes to packages or bespoke bookings may incur additional admin fees.

​

Travel - Travel fees apply to certain locations from CBD and you will be notified of any additional fees upon booking.

​

Parking - Parking fees may apply to certain bookings where no free parking is available for our party hosts. If a private drive or permit cannot be supplied in the case of no free street parking, please notify us if there are any additional parking costs prior to your event so we can invoice you for this additional parking fee.

Activities and Timing

​

As the nature of our beauty activities are one on one applications, our packages are timed for the event duration booked and number of guests. If you would like to add on activities , additional time or party hosts will be required. 

We will require final rsvp number of guests participating, including the birthday child and siblings that may join. Additional children on the day may require additional time and payment ,or reducing an activity.

We bring sit down games and activities for the duration of the party, and we can set the children up to play games and suggestions are available if required.

​

Please ensure that all guests are on time, or this may result in missing out on an activity and extended time for our party hosts to stop and help the late child on arrival. If you can advise us of known late arrivals we can plan ahead.

Younger children in groups require more time and help with activities, and can be set up with craft and colouring in while we apply nail colour, glitter etc

If the children are below our recommended age for the package, we may need to modify to suit the age group.

Hair Braiding and styling. 

If you have booked hair styling for your child and guests, please understand we have a limited allocated time for each guest to get hair done, please make sure their hair is brushed before arriving if possible.

Colour extensions and attachments may vary in time based on child’s hair and length, and brushing required.

 

Party food

Party food may be served during the allocated time, when the children are free to play and wait their turn.  If you would like a sit down formal lunch, or high tea within our booking time, please advise us as our packages are structured to run activities throughout the duration booked, and no break times are allocated. Please be aware that your party host will need to leave on time for another booking.

Petit Events Property 

​

We bring the fun, and ALOT of things!

Please advise us at the end of the party if any of our equipment including robes, props etc are left. We ask you as a part of the booking agreement to assist our hosts to check all rooms if children have taken upstairs or into other rooms. Such as robes which are taken off during the party or photo props at the end for the final photos.

Taking our equipment will result in an invoice sent to you, if not returned within 7 days. We put alot of time and money into repairing and replacing items. We appreciate your understanding. 

 

Supervison 

​

All our party hosts have a current Working with Childrens Check, however children must still be supervised by an Adult at all times at private and public events. All children 4 and under who participate in older birthday parties may require additional assistance.

​

 

Product Sensitivity

​

While we use safe non toxic quality products , If any child attending has sensitive skin or allergies, please advise us if you need full ingredient listings for face masks, makeup or face paints.

Please also notify us of any special requirements of any child or event guests, including allergies or other mental, emotional or physical issues, which may effect the entertainment we provide, and we can make changes accordingly. 

 

 

Location

​

We are a Mobile business. Parties can be held at your home or a venue you arrange yourself. Indoors or outdoors is suitable, however a shaded undercover area is required if extreme weather conditions, too hot or cold.

Please advise us if the beauty packages are set up in a garage as our towels and equipment are delicate. If there is any concern of mess created we can advise the best place to run each activity.

 

Photos

​

Photos may be taken by us during the event for promotional purposes. These photos will not identify the child’s details. Please let us know if you have a child in attendance that cannot have their photo used for promotional purposes.
